D-COY / BEATMATHICS
Heading the mob is D-COY : Takes the native Filipino and adds his own fluid poetic flow that creates a universal language that all hip-heads know in their hearts. A master puppeteer that can make the crowd jump and scream his name at any given moment through his vindi...ctive style of verse. ARTSTRONG : The heart and soul of the group – the beat-maker and the booty-shaker. He’s the playa’ that puts the finesse in the 808s that makes you grind through his influential reggae and old-school styles. With his background influence in gospel, he preaches his sound to be the salvation of all that hears. JAMIR : Brings strength and power to the group, with fine riffs and a killer voice. Jamir is the renaissance musican, combining grooves from all genres and a wild sense of visionary imagination. DASH : Every group has to have the wise man. Dash is the enigmatic old-school god in the mob. What he brings to the table is like a mafia boss bringing to the empire a wealth of knowledge. He’s the golden string that ties the old-school sound and the new-school sound to create FLIPHOP. PIKASO : A natural-born artist from West-Coast Cali. He has an influential style that creates the turbo-boost for Beatmathics. As his name implies, he took his influence and applies his abstract styles to add a little flavah of the U.S.-style gangstah rap. SNAPPER : Queen bee of the hive. Don’t let her looks deceive you, she can bust a nut on the mic and she represents the Oriental gee style. DJ SKIN KADAFI : Turntablist extraordinaire… the sound-master that brings to life the BEATMATHICS during live shows.

Fuchsiang Pag-ibig - Silent Sanctuary
Fuchsiang Pag-ibig - A guilty plesure that surely bringback memories....some worth remembering ,some worth forgetting.
Their songs are incredibly soulful .My day isn't complete without listening to it.I remember the days when im home alone.I'd just sit there in sofa, looking out the window over endless sky, Trees swaying, emerald greenfields and feel content looking at the view and hearing Sarky croon and scream, hiss and sing . Boredom would just wile away while I listen to him I cant help but feel nostalgic-about all events in my life gone past.
With their singles "Ikaw Lamang ","Kundiman",Rebound","Maalala mo sana" and "Ingat ka" eventually became ubiquitous hum of many teenagers making splash on local radio stations.
I love everything that they've done from the first to their last song, From most sucessful to the least popular. But this dear album holds a special place in my heart.

MOBBSTARR: DiCE & k9 - It's You
The group has definitely come into its own after the phenomenal success of the hit song "Itsumo." Having broken into the big city scene four years ago "wearing clothes that fit us just right", says Dice, in contrast to the oversized shirts and baggy ultra-low jeans that everyone proclaiming hip-hop was wearing then, the group has since topped the charts as the hip-hop group that raps Japanese lyrics with a hypnotic thread of pop melody, all held together by a metallic but meandering techno beat.
The hip-hop group's latest creation, "Time Space Rhythm Starrs" is finally available in the market. It has been two years since they released a full-length album. Thus, expect their latest collection of beats and verses to be a welcome departure from the laid back beats they have known for.
"Eargasmic", the carrier single of the album, dishes out an infectious dance groove that is becoming now the anthem in the club scenes. Once again, Dice & K9 Mobbstarr innovates and avoids being boxed within the constraints of one music genre.
Back in Cebu where the group started, Dice already had that trailblazing spirit. With his cousins, and later by himself, he would produce beats for different groups that defied the mainstream idea of hip-hop, putting forward a movement to support indie Cebuano bands at a time when foreign and Manila artists seemed to make the FM airwaves so crowded for local talent to ever make a hit.
Dice, Hi-C and Klumcee are purveyors of reinvention and evolution. They all have the same vision for their music, which is to stretch the limits of hip-hop by merging it with pop, techno, and whatever they want to experiment with, unafraid of producing a new sound.
"The true essence of hip-hop is change. It's about always evolving to improve your way of living", declares Dice. Right now, they hope to expand their reach to an overseas audience, such as Japan and US.
It seems the group will have little to worry about. With the rare courage to create their own brand of music and the capacity to constantly reinvent their sound. Dice & K9 Mobbstarr just might be what the Philippines needs to get on the world of hip-hop map.
Tune in to the radio... watch your favorite music video channel... and you'll surely hear and see "EARGASMIC", and that's everyone is talking about - the new sound of Dice & K9 Mobbstarr!
"TIME SPACE RHYTHM STARRS" is now available nationwide at your favorite record bars. It is produced by 6000 GOONZ and Upperhand Entertainment. Blind Rhyme - Denmark
The most anticipated in 2004
Denmark is back-prepare to be schooled, Declares intro to Blind Rhyme, Denmark's first album in over a decade. Make no mistake: those who only know him from the early 90's pop-rap hit "Si Luningning" will be surprised at the sheer ferocity and aggression- not to mention the skills- on display here. As he raps on "Bwakanaaa". "Matagal akong nawala, baka ka matulala, lalo lang akong tumindi".
Musically BlinD Rhyme is a mix of old styles and more recent sounds: its peppered with musical references to acts like Leo Sayer and the kingsmen, and many of its track ride a 70's vibe: piano and horn sounds, funky bass lines and drum breaks. Electronic beats and orchestra hits define some other tracks, as well as scratch efx by such adepts as Dj Arbie Won and Dj Kimozave. The old-skool work out "Baknthday" guest fellow veterans of the scene FrancisM and Michael V, and on "Takbo"- featuring Gloc-9 and Mista Blaze - Denmark motormouths with the best of them.

TODAS -Applauded as Best Hip-Hop Album in Philippine Hip-Hop Awards IV.So much has been said about CIRCULO PUGANTES,even before they released this album.Fans including me was amazed over dope words and rhymes of DENMARK, MADD POETS, BB CLAN, CHINESE MAFIA and as well as the new sessionists like DON DA 4TH LETTER,READY 4WAR, RHYTHMIKZ, BASTONEROS and NEW ELEMENTS.
This Album is a cozy record worth listening to. In fact, It could be classified as CLASSIC, with its head bobbing beats by Quaizy Illeon and Lowkey da Boy Wonder. The First Track is Galaw Galaw (4:12) - BB Clan. This excellent Beginning followed by Chinese Mafia's Unang Duduwal (5:03) ,Madd Poets Araw-araw, Gabi-gabi, Denmark's Piping Dilat,Tira (3:31) - D-Coy,Ilabas Ang Angas (4:06) - Klutch-B,Tagalawg (4:11) - Kemikal Ali until to the last. TODAS is more than satisfying. I cant wait for their next release.

The Ones Who Never Made It - Loonie
Loonie Season Baby!
THE ONES WHO NEVER MADE IT
OUT NOW!
2010, MOMENTUM SHIFT. Here's an album that's been highly anticipated for the past 5 years. I don't care which part of the world you're from but if you say you a Pinoy hiphop fan - Loonie is that dude. I have locked this album on my player for the past few days and sitting on this news has made me almost go crazy here in my room.
Loonie's album is packed with thought, momentum, story, depth and relevance all punctuated with rhymes and delivery you have never heard before in ANY OPM HIPHOP ACT. The INTRO alone sets up the two sided thought process behind the album title. Songs like The Bobo Song, Quinta, Walang Babala are easy favorites. The guests artists and MC's in this album where well picked. Hi C, Dice, Konflick, Tuff, Gloc 9, Rhyxodus, God's Will, Mike Kosa, JSkeelz, Toney Chrome, Nimbusnine, Mikkeraphone, Ron Henley and Klumcee trade bars with Loonie throughout the album in a careful balance of brilliance and integrity. Soundscapes provided by monster producers The Beatmonx - doing most of the beats; CH and Jaytek. It won't be a Loonie album if it didn't stir up jokes and controversy. From calling out other local MC's on songs to an MC Battle skit to that recorded phone call from an irate woman.
This album is brought to you by 6000 Goonz, Clay Shop, 10th St. Manila, WeLegendary x SPECKS and WIPCAPS.
